“YPN has provided me with the opportunity to support and sustain my local community. As a young professional, it’s easy to become disconnected with persons who are outside of family, work or one’s social circle. Being a member of YPN motivates me to not only strengthen my ties with the community, but also to hone my talents as a young professional which are equally as important. I have also come to find that being a member is not only about service, but also about leadership, commitment and empowerment.
Out of all my experiences throughout the organization, I am forever grateful to YPN for teaching me consistency. The ability to follow-through or the act of accomplishment is a characteristic that is vital to both personal and professional relationships. Members and potential members of YPN should come to YPN expecting to develop their own talents. This relationship of giving of ourselves while also improving in many areas, is just one of the many reasons why I'm a YPN member today.”
